The Essential Defence Services Bill, 2021, prohibits workers engaged in essential defence services from striking work especially in light of the decision to corporatise the Ordnance Factory Board. The Bill, 2021, violates two resolutions of the International Labour Conference, which provides guidelines for ILO’s policy, and emphasise the recognition of the right to strike.
